Catherine S. Strong, RN, BSN, JD
Catherine specializes in all aspects of Elder Law, including Medicaid and long-term care planning, guardianships, special needs planning, estate planning, and probate. She also represents plaintiffs in medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases. Catherine is a Registered Nurse as well as an attorney, and has over 20 years experience in working with the elderly and long term care issues. She is passionate about serving the elderly, and her nursing background gives her a unique perspective and is invaluable to her elder law practice, as well as her medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases. Catherine served on the Board of Directors for the Washington chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorney from 2008 - 2012, and served as Vice-President and President-Elect of the chapter. She also served as President of the Board of Directors for Elder and Adult Day Services, a non-profit organization serving elders and developmentally disabled adults. She is also a member of the King County Bar Association's Elder Law Section and the Washington Association for Justice. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys gardening, knitting, reading, and spending time with her family and her golden retrievers.
